1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work. Others are optional, and I only use them if you say yes.
2. Cookies this site uses
Essential cookies are always on, because the site can’t work without them. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you allow them.
| Cookie | What it’s for | Type | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| eyfs-with-mrs-s-session | Keeps you signed in and remembers your basket | Essential | 2 hours |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Protects forms from being sent by other sites | Essential | 2 hours |
| remember_web_… | Keeps you signed in, only if you tick “Keep me logged in” | Essential | 400 days |
| eyfs_consent | Remembers your cookie choices | Essential | 6 months |
| _ga | Google Analytics: tells one visitor from another, without your name | Analytics | 2 years |
| _ga_… | Google Analytics: keeps track of a visit | Analytics | 2 years |
| _gcl_au | Google Ads: shows whether an advert led to a visit | Marketing | 90 days |
| _fbp | Meta (Facebook and Instagram) adverts: shows whether an advert led to a visit | Marketing | 90 days |
3. Your choices
Optional cookies are off until you turn them on. You can change your mind here at any time, and turning a type off deletes its cookies from this site.
4. Google Tag Manager
Analytics and advert measurement are added through Google Tag Manager. Until you say yes, no analytics or advertising cookies are set, and Google’s tags are told your choice through Google Consent Mode.
5. Videos from other sites
Some pages show YouTube or Vimeo videos. They don’t load until you press play, unless a video is set to play by itself. Once one loads, YouTube or Vimeo may set their own cookies under their own policies.
Videos inside the library are streamed by Bunny.net.
6. Blocking cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. If you block essential cookies, signing in and your basket won’t work.
7. Changes to this policy
I’ll update this page when the cookies change. If I add a new kind of optional cookie, I’ll ask you again.
Something unclear? Get in touch or email eyfswithmrss@gmail.com and I’ll explain.
