About this resource

3 weeks of purposeful continuous provision enhancements linked to the exciting theme of Space, carefully planned to inspire curiosity, exploration, imagination and meaningful learning through play. Each enhancement is designed to promote child-led exploration whilst providing rich opportunities for high-quality adult interactions, language development and sustained shared thinking. The activities support progression across the EYFS curriculum, encouraging children to develop key skills through practical, hands-on experiences that are both engaging and developmentally appropriate. Across the three weeks, children will explore planets, rockets and astronauts, complete exciting space missions and STEM challenges, before unleashing their creativity through imaginative alien worlds, ensuring learning builds progressively whilst keeping children motivated and engaged throughout the topic.
