6 weeks of purposeful continuous provision enhancements linked to the exciting theme of Celebrations, Traditions and Seasonal Change, carefully planned to inspire curiosity, creativity, exploration and meaningful learning through play.
Each enhancement is designed to promote child-led exploration whilst providing rich opportunities for high-quality adult interactions, language development and sustained shared thinking. The activities support progression across the EYFS curriculum, encouraging children to develop key skills through practical, hands-on experiences that are engaging, purposeful and developmentally appropriate.
Across the six weeks, children will explore a range of celebrations and traditions, including Diwali, Bonfire Night, Remembrance and Christmas, whilst also noticing the changing seasons as autumn moves into winter. From creating Rangoli patterns and exploring light, to cosy cafés, winter investigations, festive challenges and creative experiences, each week provides engaging enhancements that build on children's curiosity, knowledge, skills and understanding.
