Reception Spring 2 Medium Term Plan
This editable Reception Spring 2 Medium Term Plan is based around Sowing a Seed and the big question “How can I care for nature?”
Children are given opportunities to explore plants, minibeasts, habitats, lifecycles, animals and the natural world through practical investigation, outdoor learning, stories and purposeful provision.
The plan includes all areas of the EYFS alongside key lines of enquiry, cultural capital, role play, core texts, phonics, mathematics, key vocabulary, continuous provision and assessment opportunities.
Throughout the plan, learning is linked back to the Reception progression documents, supporting a consistent approach to developing and applying knowledge and skills across the curriculum.
The document is fully editable, allowing you to adapt experiences, provision and learning opportunities to suit your own children and setting.
