A calm, purposeful and play-based welcome pack designed to help new Reception children feel safe, settled and excited about starting school. Transition days can feel busy and overwhelming, especially when you are trying to welcome new children, meet families, introduce routines and begin getting to know every child. This pack gives you three ready-to-use sessions that create a warm, consistent start while still allowing children plenty of time to explore and play. Using a simple Teddy theme that runs throughout, children will meet their new adults, explore their classroom, build confidence in key routines and take part in a special teddy bears’ picnic to celebrate becoming part of their new class.
