About this resource

Build the foundations for confident handwriting with this 15-page Pre-Writing Patterns Pack, designed for Nursery and Reception children developing the early movements needed for letter formation. Before children begin forming letters, they need opportunities to practise the lines, curves, arches, loops and directional movements that make up each letter. This carefully structured resource helps children develop these essential skills through progressive tracing and mark-making activities.
