About this resource

What Will You Make? Construction Inspiration Cards A set of visual construction inspiration cards designed to encourage children to explore, build, problem-solve and develop their own ideas in continuous provision. Each card asks “What will you make?” alongside a simple visual idea using a range of construction materials, including wooden blocks, larger building bricks, loose parts and small-world resources. Use them in your construction area as prompts, display them at child height or introduce individual cards as enhancements to provision. Designed to inspire rather than instruct, giving children a starting point while still leaving plenty of room for their own creativity and ideas.
